So have I already mentioned how much in love I am and always will be with TobyMac?
Sometimes I entertain the thoughts that tell me he might be my soul mate. How else do I explain, his songs and lyrics, every word be the exact same things that run across my mind that very moment I hear them?
And I came across this weird rumor on the internet, that because last year he released this album called 'Eye on It', he is part of the illuminati. WHAT is THAT? Heights of ridiculousness. People have difficulty accepting rap, hip hop and Tobymac kind of music as Gospel because it does not explicitly talk about God anywhere. Well if anyone asks me, any song that reminds you of God; comforts you and lets you know of a greater power that is watching over you, that is bigger than your problems, is Gospel. And if a song can speak to you in a timely manner in the hour of need, and put you at ease letting you know that God is around, have faith, it is definitely sent from above. There is no question of coincidence.
And to this generation of wannabe atheists, he sings unabashedly, " I don't really care if they label me a Jesus freak, there aint no disguising the truth...".
